The Charlotte Chorale took to the streets of Waxhaw for its 4th of July parade.  We made our way down Main Street singing to an energetic crowd. It was fun and an honor celebrating the independence of our great country.

The Charlotte Chorale is excited to welcome new singers for 2022!  Auditions will take place on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.

We look for adult singers that love to have fun performing a variety of styles of choral music.  Singers should be able to read choral music and be available for rehearsals on Tuesday evenings. We do ask that potential members audition.  During the audition, you will be asked to do the following things:

1.) Sing a prepared solo of your choice.
Singers are asked to prepare a solo in any genre of music with which you feel comfortable, that will illustrate the quality of your voice.  You may sing with an accompaniment track or an accompanist will be provided.  When using an accompanist, please bring a copy of your music.

2.)  Perform Vocal Exercises for Range Testing
Singers will be asked to perform vocal exercises to determine their range, tone and musical skill.

3.  Sight Reading
Singers will be given a line of music to sight read to determine musical level.

We know that the idea of auditioning is scary, but relax.  The audition is 15 minutes long and we make it fun!

If you want to be part of this fun and very talented musical group, email us at
charlottechorale@hotmail.com to schedule an audition time.

The mission of the Charlotte Chorale is to "Make Great Music" and to "Give Back" .

We are proud to enhance events presented by other non-profit organizations in the area and help them achieve their goals.

The Charlotte Chorale took to the road this year and performed at the following locations.

In The Community

With a mission focused on cultural enrichment and accessibility to live choral music within the Charlotte community, The Charlotte Chorale Inc., also prides itself on giving back to those in the community.

Thank you to everyone that supported our  “Buy A Biscuit for A Soldier” program this past year.  Each December the Charlotte Chorale donates thousands of sausage biscuits to the USO of NC to feed the soldiers  as they travel through the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. To date we have fed over 40,000 soldiers. Thank you to Bojangles for supplying the biscuits.   If you would like to support this program, donations can be sent to:

Thank you for helping us feed the brave men and women who keep us safe.

After being sidelined for a year and a half, it was great to have the opportunity to work our way back to the stage.  We had a great summer meeting baseball fans in uptown Charlotte while selling cool refreshing treats.  We couldn't have done it without our amazing volunteers!  Thank you for your hard work!

Thank You Volunteers

We are so THANKFUL for the volunteers that came out on our behalf at the Wells Fargo Championship this year!  Yes, we got to actually do something in person!!!

You all are the best volunteers and can't wait to perform for you soon.
