Many things bring us joy during the holiday season;

celebrating the birth of our Savior, spending time with loved ones and frolicking in the snow.

The Charlotte Chorale will celebrate all of these joys through song as we present “The Joy of Christmas”.

This joyous event will take place Saturday, December 2nd at Booth Playhouse beginning at 7:00 PM.

You can expect to hear “How Great Our Joy”, “Joy To The World”, “Sleigh Ride”, “Winter Wonderland”, “White Christmas”, “Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town” and many more joyous Christmas songs.

Love In Action

The Charlotte Chorale was proud to perform at Relay for Life  where the American Cancer Society is helping

to save lives and celebrate life.

On December 17th, thousands of soldiers from Fort Jackson in Columbia, SC travel through Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The soldiers begin arriving at 4:00 AM and really look forward to a warm breakfast after travelling all night.

The Charlotte Chorale is proud to donate sausage biscuits to the USO of NC to feed the soldiers through our Buy A Biscuit Program.  Over the years we have donated over 20,000 sausage biscuits.

Biscuits are $1.00 each.  If you would like to make a donation, you can do so at our concert,

The Charlotte Chorale took to the streets of Waxhaw for its 4th of July parade.  We made our way down Main Street singing to an energetic crowd. It was fun and an honor celebrating the independence of our great country.

Accepting New Singers

We were honored to present entertainment to the hardworking volunteers at Common Heart at their Love In Action Banquet.  Because of Common Heart, many in our community have food to eat.

The Charlotte Chorale is looking for adult male and female singers to join them on stage. To become a member of this unique ensemble, you need to love to entertain audiences, sing a variety styles of choral music and embrace giving back to the community.

We will be meeting singers on July 25th and August 1st  at Ascension Lutheran Church located at the 1225 E. Morehead Street, Charlotte.   We are looking for adult singers  that love to have fun performing a variety of styles of choral music.  Singers should be able to read choral music and be available for rehearsals on Tuesday evenings.

We do ask that potential members audition.  During the audition,  you will be asked to do the following things:

1.)  Prepare a song of your choice.
Singers are asked to prepare a solo in any genre of music with which you feel comfortable, that will illustrate the quality of your voice.  You may sing with an accompaniment track or an accompanist will be provided.  When using an accompanist,  please bring a copy of your music.

2.)  Vocal Exercises for Range Testing
Singers will be asked to perform vocal exercises to determine their range, tone and musical skill.

3.  Sight Reading
Singers will be given a line of music to sight read to determine musical level.

We know that the idea of auditioning is scary, but relax.  The audition is 15 minutes long and we try to make it fun.

If you want to be part of this fun musical group, email us at
charlottechorale@hotmail.com to schedule an audition time.

The mission of the Charlotte Chorale is to "Make Great Music" and to "Give Back" .

We are proud to enhance events presented by other non-profit organizations in the area and help them achieve their goals.

The Charlotte Chorale will be performing at the following events"
