Accepting New Singers

Relay For Life

The Charlotte Chorale took to the streets of Waxhaw for its 4th of July parade.  We made our way down Main Street singing to an energetic crowd. It was fun and an honor celebrating the independence of our great country.

1 in 2 students in our Charlotte live in poverty.  We tried to  help level the educational playing field for these students by making flash cards.  Each set of flashcards will enable a child to learn the basics they need to be successful in school.

Patriotic Benefit Concert

We were honored to present entertainment to the hardworking volunteers at Common Heart at their Love In Action Banquet.  Because of Common Heart, many in our community have food to eat.

The mission of the Charlotte Chorale is to "Make Great Music" and to "Give Back" .

We are proud to enhance events presented by other non-profit organizations in the area and help them achieve their goals.

The Charlotte Chorale took to the road this year and performed at the following locations.

Making Strides

Thank you to everyone that attended our Patriotic Benefit Concert.  We appreciate all of the donations to our Buy A Biscuit for a Soldier Program.  Because of your generosity, many soldiers will receive a warm breakfast sandwich.

In The Community

Love In Action

We do ask that potential members audition.  During the audition,  you will be asked to do the following things:

1.)  A prepared solo of your choice.
Singers are asked to prepare a solo in any genre of music with which you feel comfortable, that will illustrate the quality of your voice.  You may sing with an accompaniment track or an accompanist will be provided.  When using an accompanist,  please bring a copy of your music.

2.)  Vocal Exercises for Range Testing
Singers will be asked to perform vocal exercises to determine their range, tone and musical skill.

3.  Sight Reading
Singers will be given a line of music to sight read to determine musical level.

We know that the idea of auditioning is scary, but relax.  The audition is 15 minutes long and we try to make it fun.

If you want to be part of this fun musical group, click the button below to email us so we can schedule a time when you  can audition.

@CLT Chorale

The Charlotte Chorale welcomes new singers twice a year.  We look for adult singers  that love to have fun performing a variety of styles of choral music.  Singers should be able to read choral music and be available for rehearsals on Tuesday evenings.

We encouraged the walkers as they made their way on around the ZMAX Dragstrip during Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

The Charlotte Chorale was proud to perform at Relay for Life  where the American Cancer Society is helping

to save lives and celebrate life.
